Andreia H. A. da Silva received her bachelor's degree at the end of 2017 in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering at UNICAMP. Following directly to a Master of Sciences, also in structural engineering in 2018 and 2019 at UNICAMP. In her master's, she did research on the induced seismicity effects on reinforced concrete structures designed according to the Brazilian building code. Moreover, she was a visiting student at Johns Hopkins University, where she started developing a seismic risk analysis of a Brazilian city subjected to induced seismicity hazard, which became the subject of her master thesis.

In January of 2020, Ms. Silva started her Ph.D. studies at ETH, in the Chair of Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering. Therein, she is part of the project Quasi-Dynamic Seismic Performance-Based Design Procedure
